This resolution recognized the urgency of the plastic pollution problem and the need for a comprehensive, coordinated global response. With an ongoing UN Treaty on Plastic Pollution, the theme of CESS 2023, <b style=\"font-weight: 800\">International Cooperation for Creating a Circular Plastics Economy: The Backbone of UN Treaty on Plastic Pollution and Driving South Korea to Future Partnership,<\/b> conveys the need for an international legally binding agreement by 2024, in these times of prolonged crisis of plastic production and pollution with the triple impacts: extreme climate change, nature loss, and pollution. Nevertheless, CESS will engage policymakers, businesses, experts, and the youth to discuss how international cooperation for creating a circular plastics economy can achieve the global goal of limiting warming by 1.5 degrees, boost economic opportunity by reducing waste, stimulating innovation, and creating employment, and present sustainable
